Lazy K Little Bit O' Blue: "Sybil"
(Pleasant Hill Blue Suede X Alvesta Louisa)
It's difficult not to get overly attached to the mares we've shared a birthing stall with, and to that Sybil is no exception. There's something innately special shared in those intimate moments- often in the dark morning hours while the rest of the world sleeps- it isn't something easily expressed.
Even though logically we know our breeding goals must stay at the heart of our program, it is always incredibly sad to say goodbye the mares that have given us so much (so much so that we can rarely ever bring ourselves to do it!). Sybil will be extra hard to watch leave as she has been a near constant shadow in our fields; practically since her arrival. Thankfully, our hearts can draw solace from the fact that Sybil has found a new home where she'll get to continue doing her absolute favorite thing in the world- mothering! We wish the absolute best for this lovely girl (and a slough of little roan foals for her new owners!).

Faylin's Sacre Blue: "Domino"
(Evans Indigo X Clanfair Mai Tai)
Another one on his way to Florida! Domino will be following in his father, and sister's hoofsteps and learning the way of the saddle (and hopefully one day the ring!).
Faylin's Midnight Classic: "Mickey"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Midnight Encore)
Mickey is a 2021 model in the spitting image of his father (just MUCH larger). He was already 13.1+H when he left us at 18 months. We look forward to seeing this guy's bright future realized. Congratulations to his new family in Carolina! He's sure to stop the show.
Quicksilver Black Coal: "Loche"
(Barkmeadow Black Coal X Boston Blodwyn)
Loche has found his New home rather fittingly in New York! It's a continually tough reminder (one I forget every single year); we just can't keep them all!
Evans Indigo: "Indie"
(Clanfair Mirabeau X Evans Marianna)
Indie is now an official Florida resident! This handsome fella will be hitting the show rings soon and you can be sure that his rider will be making an entrance in style!
Faylin's Periwinkle: "Tinka"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Lazy K LIl' Bit O' Blue)
Two more for Canada! Tinka and Dash are on their way to their new home in the great white north (or more accurately Kentucky until they're old enough to start). Keep your eyes peeled in a few year for these two!
Faylin's Southern Classic: "Dash"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Bridlewood's Simply Southern)
Two more for Canada! Tinka and Dash are on their way to their new home in the great white north (or more accurately Kentucky until they're old enough to start). Keep your eyes peeled in a few year for these two!
Faylin's Simply Brilliant: "Gus"
(Goldhills Brilliant Disguise X JPH Primrose)
This big guy is joining Tinka and Dash on the trailer to Kentucky. There's no way this guy won't be spectacular when he grows up (and we can't wait to see it!).
Faylin's Artful Dodger: "Mongo"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Crystal Acres Twinkle Too)
Mongo has joined a few other Faylin alum down in Florida. This big boy was well on his way to 13.2H when he left us, with the mature personality to match a pony of that size. It was tough watching this sweet boy leave, but he couldn't have found a better home (with quite a few familiar faces).
Faylin's Revelry: "Mowgli"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Alpine Acres Cat Ballou)
Kentucky bound! We’re delighted that Mowgli and ChiChi will get to stay together for the next leg of their journey, because they’ve become thick as thieves. Best of luck boys; Kentucky is getting a nice dose of Chrome!
Faylin's Aye Chihuahua: "ChiChi"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Kella)
Kentucky bound! We’re delighted that Mowgli and ChiChi will get to stay together for the next leg of their journey, because they’ve become thick as thieves. Best of luck boys; Kentucky is getting a nice dose of Chrome!
Faylin's Firefly: "Kilo"
(Gayfields Say What!?! X Kella)
Kilo is now in training down in Florida. We think he's sure to be the most precious little packer once he graduates- just like his older brother, Faylin's Seven Kinds of Smoke!
Evans Daddy's Favorite: "Favor"
(Providence of the Night X Tigress CFP)
After almost 7 years together the time has come for Evans Daddy’s Favorite to leave us. In her time here Favor has proved herself a sweet and loving pony as well as an overachieving broodmare (going as far as to nurse any foal in her field!).
Unfortunately, as our program moves away from crossbreds we have had to make some hard decisions, and we just aren’t set up to take Favor where she’s capable of going under saddle. With that in mind we are anxious to see how she progresses with her training in her new home and hope all the best things for Favor in her future; it’s sure to be bright! Pennsylvania here she comes!
EDIT:
Favor went on to WIN pony finals (Pony Finals Medium Green 2022) just 8 months after leaving the farm! We knew this special girl had a golden future ahead of her; she just proved us right WAY sooner than expected!
Faylin's Cherrybomb: "Caper"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Evans Daddy's Favorite)
Fast on the heels of her dam’s sale, Caper decided to follow suit; they’ll even be sharing the same trailer! Caper has easily- and perhaps perpetually- claimed the crown of sweetest pony here on the farm, much preferring people’s company to that of any other pony.
It'll be incredibly difficult not to have this little shadow following us about the filly field any more (we’ve gotten rather spoiled to it), but we’re certain that this kind little soul will love nothing better than to have hoards of children crawling all over her day-in, day-out (once she gets used to them of course).
Goodbye sweet girl; New York doesn’t know how lucky they are.
Faylin's Marquee: "Marki"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Crystal Acres Twinkle Too)
Sales seem to come in two’s here at Faylin, and hot on her brother’s hooves is Marki! But it’s hard to be too upset about this particular parting just yet… as Marki won’t actually be leaving us until next summer. Florida’s getting another one! And we just can’t wait until they’re all meeting in the show ring!
Faylin's Say It Ain't Grey: "Guy"
(Gayfields Say What!?! X Crystal Acres Twinkle Too)
Now here’s an announcement that I didn’t think I’d be making… For those that know me, you know that Faylin's Say it Ain't Grey, "Guy", is my sweetheart: there’s simply too many attributes to list in explaining why. I’ve always wanted him to end up in the best position possible and- falling into the same pitfall that ensnares all breeders at one point or another- I foolishly convinced myself that home had to be with me. But what started out as a brief training stint in Florida has turned into a more permanent situation. We are incredibly proud- and more than a little heart broken- to say that Guy has found himself a new family in Canada (with an equine vet no less!).
A boisterous thank you to Christine Yoo Davis for all the hard work that she and her training daughter machine dream team have done- above and beyond the call of duty! I never would have believed I could be so zen with my baby 3 states away (though I guess now I’ll have to get use to extending that range).
Faylin's Cajun Chrome: "Sebastian"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Evans Elana)
Faylin’s Cajun Chrome is heading out of country! Sebastian will be on his way to Quebec after weaning in August, becoming our first international sale! Wishing the best of luck to this special boy’s new family; they got a superstar!
Edit: "Cajun" has now found his way back down to Florida- to join the bulk of our other Faylin alums.
Faylin's French Montana: "Monty"
Formerly Faylin's The Gentleman
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Russetwood Romance)
And in record time, Faylin's The Gentleman is on his way to bigger and better things. We couldn't be happier with his new home (Florida gets another!).
Faylin's Adalida: "Addie"
(Evans Indigo X JPH Primrose)
As usual we’re a little behind on announcements, but…. Faylin’s Adalida “Addie” will be going to see a familiar face in Florida!
Addie will also be the very first Faylin pony to carry an Auggie baby (romantic liaison scheduled for next month- fingers crossed). And we couldn’t be more excited to see what she throws for her new owners next year!!! Keep an eye out for this foal; it's sure to be a stunner.
Edit: Addie gave birth to a beautiful bay colt- Faylin's Florida Lis
Faylin's Labrinth: "Rin"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome Evans Katie Golden)
Another Auggie baby is off the market! Huck (now Rin) will be on his way to Florida this December to what we know will be a bright, bright future. It’s gonna be terribly difficult to part with this little ham, but we couldn’t be happier for his new family.
Faylin's C'est La Vie: "Mynx"
(Gayfields Say What!?! X Quicksilver Blackberry)
Mynx pictured below at her first show. This sweet pony, now owned by Christine Yoo Davis, has been in Florida under the care of Christine’s daughter, Zoie. Zoie has taken Mynx from pasture ornament to champion, and we couldn’t be more amazed by the transformation! Round of well deserved applause for this young trainer and her sisters for all the lovely work they’ve done with Mynx and their other contest ponies!!! You girls rock!
Faylin's Kodachrome: "Koda"
(Clanfair Classic Chrome X Evans Elana)
Koda is Auggie's very first foal, and the beginning to the 'Age of Auggie/Elana'. As Auggies eldest, Koda also leads the way for all his siblings that come after him, and we couldn't have asked for a better example. Koda is now down in Florida with plans to begin showing this coming year, but his biggest cheering section will always be right here in Keatchie!
Edit: Koda has now qualified for Pony Finals!
Edit: Koda has now finished 5th in Medium greens 2023!
Faylin's Kings To You: "Cristo"
(Gayfields Say What!?! X Crystal Acres Twinkle Too)
Cristo is officially off the market. We’re inevitably melancholy whenever the time comes for one of our babies to leave us, but this parting is sure to be a particularly difficult one. As the first foal to carry our prefix, Cristo will always hold an extraordinarily special place in our hearts. Thankfully, we’re excited to say that we think he’s found himself a home in Indiana that knows he’s just as special as we do.
Since he was little we’ve know Cristo deserved to be covered in children, and that’s just what he’s going to get in his new owner’s lesson program. As always, we’ll be your biggest fans from afar buddy.
P.S. That’s three babies gone in the same month- 2021 needs to go ahead and slow down so my heart can catch up!!
Edit: Cristo now resides in Florida.
Faylin's What A Doll: "Roo"
(Gayfields Say What!?! X Choctaw Rose)
Roo (Faylin’s What A Doll) will soon be on her way to joining Faylin’s Labrynth, Faylin's Kodachrome, Faylin’s C’est La Vie, and Faylin’s Top Gun down in the Sunshine State. Roo is the last baby left from our very first batch of foals. As always the feeling is bitter sweet, but we’re happy to see her going somewhere with her very own girl (because we have been falling woefully short of meeting her never-ending snuggle quotas)!
Faylin's Seven Kinds of Smoke: "Kellog"
(Gayfields Say What!?! X Kella)
"Kellog" (now known as Puff) is the most gorgeous bay roan we could imagine. Part of our first crop of foals, Kellog was the steadiest little trooper anyone could ask for. So it was no surprise to us that that trait translated so beautifully into his current career.
Kellog was also one of our first foals to hit the show rings, and begin the process of dissolving that pesky imposter syndrome that is ever present in those early years of breeding. For all these reasons and more he will forever hold a most special place in our hearts.

Faylin's Baby Boomer: "Boomer"
(Gayfields Say What!?! X Sunny)
Boomer lives in Houston and is now a beautiful dark dappled grey. Boomer recently begun showing under saddle, and we're delighted to watch his progress.
Boomer is out of our late mare, Sunny. He was always an old soul (often calming down ponies years older than him on halter even as a yearling), and we're happy to hear that not much has changed on that front.

Faylin's Baby Boomer- right
Faylin's Seven Kind's of Smoke- left
Faylin's Top Gun: "Chewie"
Formerly Faylin's Double Dog Dare
(Gayfields Say What!?! X Sun N Pistol)
Chewie- now known as Maverick- and living in Florida where he and his young rider are taking the show circuits by storm!
But no matter how far he travels he'll never outrun the inescapably strong family resemblance he shares with his sister and dam.
Faylin's Say You Love Me: "Jayne"
(Gayfields Say What!?! X Sun N Pistol)
Jayne was our very first foal. Clearly she did her job, because the very next year we gained five broodmares and we haven't slowed down since!
Jayne represents so many firsts for us, it's hard to believe she's closing in on ten years old. Last word we got Jayne was living her best life up in the Dakotas.
